We and a couple of other neighbors had our houses egged at about 10:00 PM tonight 4/4/15. The kids actually egged the house while we were sitting in our living room. Two nights ago our doorbell along with several other neighbors bells were rung at 4 in the morning (fun harmless prank). The eggs are not fun nor are they fun to clean up. The police were called and they are patrolling the neighborhood looking for the culprits. Hopefully they will catch them before the pranks escalate.

Our house and car were both egged on Claiborne Street last night. Police were called. We have been ding-Dong-Ditched around 1am almost every Fri/Sat since Jan. Our security cameras caught images of five young males "hitting" our house on 4/4.
This needs to stop. The police feel that these kids live here and are definitely on foot. Anyone knowing about five young males being together on 4/4 should talk to them and put an end to this before it gets serious.
Thank you for your help.

My house was was egged from the alley (roof over garage was hit). Like everyone else, I was ding dong ditched 2 nights prior to the egging. They pounded on my door (not door bell). It was 2:25 am and my dog went crazy! Earlier the same week I found that my front gate to the backyard was wide open (not something I would ever do since I have children and a dog). lastly, in the small space between my house and my neighbor there are about 12-15 cigarette butts in my grass...this has me very worried that someone (or many) may be smoking on the side of my home or looking into my home. I used to feel very secure in this neighborhood but not so much anymore.

After cleaning the eggs off my car we noticed that the clear coat was damaged from the impact/velocity of the egg thrown at it. This "prank" is now costing me money to have my car fixed.
I am hopeful that any and all parents in the community are now speaking to their kids about this whole mess. Fun and games are one thing, however property damage is a whole new ball game.
