Mike B graciously responded to some questions I had overthe last couple of days:
1) Sidewalks on John Gibson and elsewhere/Duplex
Currently the duplex lot near the Koch model is prepping for construction. Once completed, that sidewalk will be completed. Mike also indicated that the second duplex would probably be done by spring (south end of John Gibson Drive..near me). That will result in that sidewalk being completed.
The property across (10 o'clock) from the old NV model is owned by Montgomery. That sidewalk will probably take some additional time to complete, but Mike is talking with the builder.
2) Pool
It sounds like it's going ahead. Plans are being completed. But, as for a ground-break date (I heard February from some folks). That isn't the case. I'd presume Elm Street would want it in even before Memorial Day to attract buyers.
I've asked Mike to post something on here when he gets more info about the pool construction. But looks like all systems are go.

Did Elm Street get approval to pay a fee in lieu of building the moderately priced dwelling units on the duplex lots? In other words is the duplex being built have standard priced units?

From what I have heard they will still be building the duplex but they will be standard priced (not moderately priced).

Check this month's newsletter for the updated rendering of the pool. We're targeting to break ground here in the next few weeks. We've finalized design of the pool, pool house, and are submitting for permit to the state. I don't have a completion date yet, because it will be dependent upon receiving permits timely from the appropriate agencies, as well as a few construction details we're working out, but we're moving forward. I'll keep everyone posted.
