Actually VERY frequent mix ups. We received pieces addressed to other GG residents twice within a few day period a few weeks back, had someone come to our door that had received our mail shortly after and on Monday of this week again received mail for someone else.
I talked to the Postmaster out of Stevensville who is in charge of the carriers. He said that he is aware of issues, has put some things in place to improve service blah blah. This is not junk mail. We had a check from a tenant that was two weeks late and already reissued when the original arrived at our door. The resident who got it had not checked their mail regularly--no fault of theirs. People take vacations, etc. Misdelivered mail of this frequency is unacceptable. One of the issues is the repeating numbers within the community. Example, there is 221 John Gibson Dr. and 221 Gibson Circle. Not well planned.
The Postmaster, Joseph Sullivan wants to be informed anytime this occurs, make sure to give him the date and the address details of the mix ups. His email is joseph.w.sullivan@usps.gov. Stevensville post office number is 410 643-5640.

I received the following email from the postmaster today. He seems truly sympathetic to the cause. Please everyone continue to contact him with the specifics of mix ups at the time of occurrence.
I wanted to keep you updated on the delivery issues and improvement plans for Gibson’s Grant Community. I have had a meeting with the assigned carrier and my substitute carrier’s, since you and I spoke last week. I have informed all of them that they will be accountable for mistakes, as the residents in this growing development have been “more than” tolerant for errors and misdeliveries that we have made, since the pavilion was completed. We have studied our situation at the pavilion and have initially discovered that the labeling inside the boxes, need to be more legible and larger. We will accomplish this within the next week – 10 days. While issues do occur with names of residents that have moved in or out, to deliver to the wrong house number, or the same number- wrong street, is inexcusable. There should be no excuse for mail going to the wrong address, with proper labeling. I trust in my carriers that their intent is to do a very good job every day. Not a none of them enjoys hearing something about sub-par performance, so I feel they are dedicated to excellence in their duties. However, the situation that you and other residents have experienced, is certainly NOT what you deserve and it is my intention to fix this. As I had offered to you, if you would like to have me attend a homeowners meeting to listen to residents, and explain our plans, I would be happy to do that. In the meantime, if you or anyone would ever like to contact me, please email me (easier, only because I may be out on street duties) at joseph.w.sullivan@usps.gov or call at the number below. I am here to help… and I certainly want Gibson’s Grant to receive excellent service from the USPS. Thank you, Joe Joseph W. Well it's not just the post office. Over the last 5 years I have received numerous Fed Ex packages at my door at 227 John Gibson Drive addressed to 227 John Gibson Circle.

Well it's not just the post office. Over the last 5 years I have received numerous Fed Ex packages at my door at 227 John Gibson Drive addressed to 227 John Gibson Circle. Most of our post office mixups have been unrelated to identical numbers but yes, we have also had Fedex and UPS deliveries mixed up both ours left at the wrong address (but identical street number) and others wrongly left on our porch. We are 221 and were told after complaining of delivery issues when we moved in that there would be 5-6 221's before GG was completed. Seems that less than 1000 houses with less than 100 per street should all be able to have unique three digit numbers. Unbelievable!!!
