Anyone else have damage to their driveways from the plow after the most recent storm? I noticed a few on my alley, including unfortunately ours. Oddly enough I am being told this is not an HOA, developer, or Chester River issue at this time.

IF they damaged your driveway - it's an issue with the Chester River AND the HOA/Developer. Who's telling you it's not their issue?

see below- From Todd Wawrzeniak Sentry Management: I am checking in on it. From an HOA perspective there is nothing we can do. I have reached out to Elm St. to see what they say. The top coat is not done which is what assisted in the damage occurring. Maybe they will agree to a repair. What is your request though? Full section replacement or patch? From Todd Wawrzeniak Sentry Management: Below is the response from Rich with Elm St. This would not be a Chester River issue simply because the top coat has not been completed in this area so these things are bound to happen. Once top coat is applied this will be less likely to happen. At that point though, the county will be responsible for snow removal and should this happen when they are plowing I can assure you that they will not pay for a repair, thus falling in your lap to repair. But as I said, the chances will be less likely to snag something and break it. From Rich at Elm Street: “We will not go around and fix chips anytime soon, typically these areas on the edge get filled in with the final course asphalt or they end up getting parged. The County has a product they allow on County owned curb which we would use on private areas as well.”

This is simply careless and irresponsible. A chip was knocked out of the corner of my driveway and about 4' of turf plowed up. The damage was done by Chester River. They should be responsible.
