Three large locust trees came down during the June 29 thunderstorm. All are at the end of Carriage Heath near Macum Creek. This one, by the water's edge, was otherwise strong but erosion had taken away its root support. It's a vicious cycle, because when the trees go, more erosion happens, more trees fall, etc. Attachments:
